Labradors and Golden Retrievers tend to have hip problems.

“Boutique” mixes like cockapoos etc often don’t live that long.

I like miniature poodles as they don’t moult and are small enough to not need a huge yard.

A pug! A big dog in a small body; with the cutest wrinkliest little face and curled pig tail. They are adorable. They are brave and bold. Need a lot of care though due to their wrinkles, pushed in noses, tendancy towards plumpness and they shed a lot.

I have a weimaraner, they are really handsome, playful, loving, good with kids and very smart. Mine barks a lot when she hears strange noises, I say thats a good thing because even though she is not agressive at all, it protects you.

it depends what the owner is like.
eg. if your a farmer, perhaps a border collie.

    a jogger, kelpie.

    a policeman, german shepherd.

but here are some breeds that i think would fit in with most people.

    golden retriever
    labrador retriever
    border collies
    and cockerpoos :)

golden retriever is a nice dog when it became a adult but when it is still a pup it likes to play a lot

Whatever would fit best with your lifestyle. Go down to the local pound/shelter and ask to see an adoption counselor.
